AUSTIN- Today, Governor Greg Abbott announced that he is endorsing Judge David Puryear for Hays County District Attorney. David Puryear previously served on the Texas Third Court of Appeals.

He is running for Hays County District Attorney to preserve and protect one of the fastest growing counties in America, and we know that without strong law enforcement and a DA committed to enforcing the law, rising crime will follow rapid growth.
