AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott yesterday mobilized voters and urged them to support Representative Morgan Meyer for re-election to House District 108 during a Get Out The Vote stop in Dallas.
“You all need to know how extremely close this race is,” said Governor Abbott. “The Texas economy today is unparalleled. There is a co-author to economic success, and that is Morgan Meyer. There are people in this room and people like you across the state of Texas that have propelled our great state to the very top. You deserve to be safe when you go to work, in your neighborhood, when you go shopping – wherever you go. With the help of Representative Meyer, we declared Tren de Aragua a foreign terrorist organization, and we are going to put them out of business. We fight, and we fight to win. We need to send Morgan Meyer back to Austin as your State Representative.”
Addressing a crowd of energized supporters and voters, Governor Abbott touted Representative Morgan Meyer’s strong record and conservative values. The Governor highlighted Representative Meyer’s wins for Texas during his tenure in the Texas Legislature, like cutting property taxes, bolstering Texas’ border security measures, and ensuring the public safety of all Texans. Governor Abbott also noted that a vote for Representative Meyer is a vote to defend Texas’ rights of liberty, prosperity, and security.
