AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today delivered remarks at a Get Out The Vote event in Highland Village. The Governor was joined by Kronda Thimesch, candidate for State Representative in House District 65, to kick off the beginning of early voting. Governor Abbott endorsed Thimesch on February 5, 2020. The Governor spoke of the incredible accomplishments achieved last session, and urged the people of House District 65 to band together and elect principled conservative leaders like Thimesch to secure an even brighter future for the state of Texas.
“We are at a pivotal point in our state’s history and the stakes are at an all-time high in the fight to elect more Republicans up and down the ballot,” said Governor Abbott. “If we want to secure a more prosperous future for the state of Texas, we must recognize that our work doesn’t start tomorrow, next week or next month. It begins with the primary election and goes all the way through the November. Through hard work and unity, we will elect conservative leaders like Kronda Thimesch and keep Texas the most exceptional state in the nation.”
