AUSTIN — Governor Greg Abbott today announced that he is endorsing Tom Maynard for re-election to the Texas State Board of Education, District 10.
“As a member of the State Board of Education representing District 10, Tom Maynard has been a champion for parents and students,” said Governor Abbott. “Tom has empowered parents with more rights in the education of their children, ensured that students are prepared for the workforce of tomorrow, and fought back against radical woke ideologies being taught in Texas classrooms. I need Tom back on the State Board of Education, and I am proud to endorse him for re-election. I encourage all Texans across District 10 to join me in supporting him this year.”
