AUSTIN — Governor Greg Abbott today announced that he is endorsing Representative David Cook for House District 96.
“David Cook is the conservative leader Texans in Tarrant County need to represent them and their values in the Texas House,” said Governor Abbott. “David helped deliver one of my legislative priorities last year—reining in rogue district attorneys who refuse to uphold the rule of law. He helped pass sweeping border security measures to keep Texans safe, the largest property tax cut in Texas history, and legislation that gives parents more rights in their child’s education. I know I can count on Representative David Cook, and I urge all Texans across House District 96 to join me in supporting him for re-election.”
