AUSTIN — Governor Greg Abbott today announced that he is endorsing Joseph “Guy” Baker for Jim Wells County Sheriff.
“Guy Baker is a true conservative warrior who believes in protecting and serving his community and upholding the rule of law,” said Governor Abbott. “He’s the type of lawman who will ensure Texas remains a law-and-order state, curb the flow of deadly fentanyl pouring into our communities, and keep dangerous criminals behind bars. I encourage Jim Wells County residents to join me in supporting Guy Baker to be their next Sheriff this November.”
