AUSTIN — Governor Greg Abbott today announced that he is endorsing Jaime Tijerina for Chief Justice, Jenny Cron for Place 2, Ysmael Fonseca for Place 4, and Jon West for Place 5 to the 13th Court of Appeals.
“Texas’ 13th Court Of Appeals serves 20 counties that are crucial to the continued economic success of our state,” said Governor Abbott. “It is critical that we elect these four candidates who have a proven background of upholding the Constitution, protecting our individual freedoms, and enforcing the laws passed by the Texas Legislature. I urge Texans in the Coastal Bend and Rio Grande Valley areas to vote for these four qualified candidates for the 13th Court of Appeals this November.”
