AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today delivered remarks at a Get Out The Vote event in Cypress alongside Angelica Garcia, candidate for State Representative in House District 132. The Governor emphasized the role every Republican voter must play in securing important victories this election, and urged the people of House District 132 to send Garcia to Austin so that she can defend the values that matter most to them. Governor Abbott endorsed Garcia in August 2019.
“Angelica is a passionate advocate for Texas families and small business owners, and she understands what it takes to keep Texas a bastion of freedom and opportunity,” said Governor Abbott. “Now more than ever, we need leaders like Angelica in the Texas House defending our values and ensuring a bright future for our great state. I urge Republicans across the state to head to the polls so that we can keep Texas red in the years to come.”
