AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott last night encouraged Texans in House District 26 to support Representative Jacey Jetton for re-election at a campaign event in Richmond.
“Fort Bend County needs Representative Jacey Jetton back in the Texas Capitol to advance conservative priorities in Austin,” said Governor Abbott. “Jacey will work with me, with the majority in his district, and the majority of Republicans in the Texas House to ensure every parent, and every family, has the ability to choose the school best for their child. I wanted to be here for one reason: So everybody here knows, and everybody in Texas knows, that I support the re-election of Jacey Jetton. Jacey is a conservative warrior, and I ask that you please return him to Austin by re-electing him to House District 26.”
During remarks, Governor Abbott noted that Texas needs conservative leaders like Representative Jacey Jetton back in Austin to help deliver huge victories important to Texans, like bolstering border security measures to keep communities safe and fighting for parents’ right to choose the best education option for their child.
