AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott yesterday bolstered support for Robert Garza’s campaign for House District 74 during a Get Out The Vote campaign event with local Republican supporters and voters in Eagle Pass.
“Robert Garza is not just the right guy for this district, he is the right guy to help represent the great state of Texas,” said Governor Abbott. “It is time for a heavy dose of common sense in the United States. Texas offers something that many states do not offer – opportunity to put money into your pocket, afford a car, and live the way you want. Common sense is what we need, and common sense in the form of Robert Garza. If everyone here can get people to go out and vote, Robert Garza will be your next State Representative.”
During his remarks to a packed restaurant, Governor Abbott applauded Garza’s leadership and his commitment to serve Texans in House District 74. The Governor also highlighted his commitment to secure the border, protect good-paying energy jobs, and pass school choice for all Texas families. After speaking to the crowd, Governor Abbott was gifted the largest chicken fried steak in the world by the owners of The Wheel House.
