AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today attended the Collin County Republican Party Labor Day Rally And 2018 Campaign Kickoff in McKinney, Texas. Joined by Attorney General Ken Paxton and Senator Ted Cruz, Governor Abbott thanked grassroots supporters in Collin County for their commitment to conservative values and encouraged them to work every day between now and election day to elect Republicans up and down the ballot.
“The most important people in our campaign from today to Election Day are the people here today and those across the state who are going out, knocking on doors and reaching out directly to voters,” said Governor Abbott. “We can’t afford to sit on the sidelines this election. Over the next two months we need everyone fully engaged on the campaign trail to keep Texas the greatest state in the nation. If we all push ourselves, we will pave the path to victory on election day.”
