Governor Abbott Endorses Senator Charles Schwertner For Re-Election To Texas Senate

AUSTIN- Today, Governor Greg Abbott announced that he is endorsing Senator Charles Schwertner for re-election to Texas Senate District 5. Senator Schwertner has served in the Texas Senate since 2013.

“I’m proud to endorse Dr. Charles Schwertner for re-election to the Texas Senate. Last session, Senator Schwertner and I worked together to build a more resilient and reliable electric grid, secure our border, and keep the Texas economy and job market the strongest in the nation.
