Agriculture Groups Announce Support of Governor Greg Abbott
AUSTIN – Today, 16 agricultural groups from across Texas announced their support for Governor Greg Abbott’s re-election campaign. The event, held in Amarillo, was attended by representatives from three groups.
Acknowledging their support, Governor Greg Abbott said, “Texas is the supermarket to world. With the best beef, materials for clothing, forests of timber, and more, the Lone Star State is proud of our agricultural traditions, and I am honored to have the support of these fine organizations today.”
“Texas Farm Bureau’s Mission is to be the Voice of Texas Agriculture and throughout his time as governor, Greg Abbott has listened to that voice and taken action to help Texas farmers and ranchers with their challenges. And, being a farmer or rancher in Texas always has its challenges. Extreme weather, disruption of the supply chain, regulatory overreach from Washington DC, and a border situation that is threatening the lives of Texas farm and ranch families. We know Governor Abbott supports the Texas agricultural industry, and that’s why Texas Farm Bureau AGFUND is proud to endorse Governor Greg Abbott,” said Walt Hagood of the Texas Farm Bureau AGFUND.
Kevin Buse, Chairman of the The Texas Cattle Feeders said, “Through Governor Abbott’s common-sense, pro-business policies, cattlemen and cattlewomen can be sure they will retain their rights, and their iconic way of life. And, he will ensure Texas maintains its status as the nation’s leading agricultural producer and remains the home to the best cattle and beef in the world.”
“Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association proudly supports Governor Greg Abbott. We are thankful for his leadership and continued support of agriculture and Rural Texas,” said Aaron Nelsen of the Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association.
“Texas ranchers and landowners need strong, experienced leadership, which is why we support Greg Abbott for reelection as Texas’ Governor,” said TSCRA PAC Vice Chairman Arthur Uhl. “We are confident that Governor Abbott will continue to be an advocate for our members and ranching families across the state.”
