AUSTIN – Today, Governor Greg Abbott announced his endorsement of Representative Reggie Smith for re-election to House District 62. Representative Smith has served in the Legislature since 2019. “In his first two sessions at the Capitol, Representative Smith has quickly established himself as a fierce advocate for conservative principles. He has been a strong supporter of our efforts to secure the southern border, understanding that problems along the Rio Grande can quickly impact cities across the Lone Star State. I urge everyone in North Texas to support Representative Smith in this year’s election,” said Governor Abbott.
