AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today stumped for Representative John Lujan for his re-election campaign to House District 118 during a Get Out The Vote stop in Universal City. Speaking to a packed crowd of Republican voters and activists, the Governor highlighted Representative Lujan’s strong conservative values, pointing to his support for small businesses, protecting the integrity of women’s sports, and his continued efforts to secure Texas’ southern border.
“John Lujan has delivered for his district, and he has delivered for the state of Texas,” said Governor Abbott. “He is a person who puts his faith in God, his family, and our troops. Representative Lujan has worked with me to cut taxes, regulations, and costs for our small businesses to help them succeed and create jobs. This race is about values. This race will direct Texas in one of two different directions. Make sure you go vote for your values. It is going to take more than just you to vote. Go get ten other people to vote, call them or text them, and do what you have to do to get them out to vote. If everyone here is able to do that, it will move the needle enough and you will have succeeded in sending John Lujan back to be your State Representative.”
