AUSTIN – Texans for Greg Abbott today announced a record fundraising period with more than $13 million raised from July through December. During the previous comparable fundraising periods in 2015 and 2019, Texans for Greg Abbott raised over $7 million and over $7.8 million respectively. Additionally, the Greg Abbott Campaign (the candidate/officeholder account) has over $6 million cash on hand as of December 31, 2023.

“Governor Abbott has continued to receive unwavering support from many Texans across our great state,” said Texans for Greg Abbott Campaign Manager Kim Snyder. “With the primary elections just around the corner, Governor Abbott has the resources needed to back strong conservative candidates who support his bold agenda to keep Texas the greatest state in the nation, including expanding school choice for all Texas families and students. This fundraising report demonstrates that Texans stand behind their Governor as he leads us to an even bigger, better Texas in 2024.”

The over $13 million fundraising includes donations from more than 26,200 contributors, with more than 80% of money raised coming from Texas.

The total cash on hand for Texans for Greg Abbott is over $32 million.

The total cash on hand for the Greg Abbott Campaign (the candidate/officeholder account) is over $6 million.
