AUSTIN — Governor Greg Abbott today issued a statement supporting conservative Kentucky Attorney General, and candidate for Kentucky Governor, Daniel Cameron and his strong border security policies:
“Liberal Andy Beshear has bragged that he sent the Kentucky National Guard to secure the southern border,” said Governor Abbott. “That couldn’t be farther from the truth. Rather than sending the Kentucky National Guard to deter and repel migrants at the southern border, the Biden Administration called them down to the border as reinforcements for President Biden’s disastrous open border policies. Daniel Cameron is a strong conservative who will help secure the border in President Biden’s absence. As the Kentucky Attorney General, Daniel Cameron sued the Biden Administration for ending Title 42 and opening a floodgate for more illegal immigration. This Tuesday on Election Day, Kentuckians should vote for Daniel Cameron, the only candidate with a strong border security record, and flip Kentucky red.”
