AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today visited the city of Benbrook where he knocked on doors and visited with voters alongside Representative Craig Goldman, who is running for re-election in House District 97. Governor Abbott endorsed Representative Goldman in October 2019. The Governor discussed the issues facing voters in Tarrant County, and encouraged Texans to vote for Republicans up and down the ballot.
“As we approach Election Day, it is crucial that we re-elect strong Republican leaders like Representative Craig Goldman to secure an even brighter future for our great state,” said Governor Abbott. “Our volunteers have done a tremendous job connecting with voters and encouraging them to head to the polls to cast their ballots. There has never been a more pivotal time for our state and our nation, and it is up to all of us to protect the Texas House and keep Texas red this November.”
